Fracture

Fracture

Fracture's corporate HQ is in Florida, but their CEO, Meredith, is Boston-based along with her VP of Marketing and some new hires. Being able to meet in-person at Workbar Needham has not only improved their work, but their relationships with each other, too.

When I came on board, we already had one employee up here in Massachusetts, and I've hired a few others. We were missing that in-person element, so we decided to get some Workbar hybrid memberships to start having those critical in-person days. Every day with the Fracture team is fantastic, but the days that we're actually in person, you can feel the creative spirit just escalating.

Fracture has grown exponentially since their auspicious beginning in Swaziland, Africa. As their company and product have evolved, they’ve learned from their experiences and are relentless in their pursuit of simple, beautiful photographic products for your home, living spaces, and even your office. This dedication allows them to explore new products, dream up new ways to commit to running a sustainable business, and, above all, make their customers happy. But what about their employees? Fracture’s HQ is in Gainsville, Florida, a seriously long commute from Boston, where CEO Meredith English and a few other Fracture employees are located. So Meredith joined Workbar, and the team’s camaraderie has skyrocketed.

“When I came on board, we already had one employee up here in Massachusetts, and I've hired a few others. We were missing that in-person element, so we decided to get some Workbar hybrid memberships to start having those critical in-person days. Every day with the Fracture team is fantastic, but the days that we're actually in person, you can feel the creative spirit just escalating.”

And a good thing, too! With their stunning glass prints made in the USA as the signature product, the consumer wants that creativity flowing at all times.

VP of Marketing Loretta White agrees. “We have two amazing interns, and bringing them into the fold has been tremendous, especially here at Workbar, because we'll be talking about something, and then all of a sudden, we'll pivot, and we'll head to the cafe, and they'll be walking me through their latest Tik Tock idea and I think that is such a special treat not only to have such great access to them but for them to really utilize this space and say hey we were walking through this neighborhood and this actually sparked an idea for us!”

With six Hybrid memberships for some of the full-time staff and our summer interns, the Fracture team has the flexibility to be able to work remotely or in different Workbar locations.

Meredith says, “I have opportunities where I'm in Boston for the entire day, and it's nice to be able to have some space to call home in between meetings. And honestly, the excitement that is coming from other people around it is fueling our energy and definitely giving us a great canvas on which to create.” A glass canvas, to be exact.

You walk through the door and you're greeted with a ton of enthusiasm. It's buzzing with additional people who are sharing the space with you, and it's brought our team, from a camaraderie standpoint, even closer.
