House17 Makes Downtown Workbar Home
Most companies that start in a dorm room never make it off campus. Lucky for us, House17 broke the mold and took their company idea from Babson to Boston and beyond.
“We had an office up in Portsmouth, NH, but most of the team moved down to Boston, and we needed a place to get together. Workbar was the perfect fit."
While the apartment-based brainstorming sessions were productive, they were getting untenable as the team grew along with the company’s client base, and most of the team meetings ended up being remote. And it just wasn’t the vibe the team wanted.
“Before we got our office at Workbar, I hadn't even met some of the team in person,” Chris Vallant, House17’s Director of Client Affairs, lamented. “It was getting really lonely working from home right out of college. Nowadays, things are way more fun and collaborative. I love being in-person at Workbar.”
Ryan Meader, House 17’s Director of Content, echoed the same sentiment. “I get so much great energy being in person,” he said. “Plus, now I can get out into the city, get a great lunch, and really take advantage of the office location.”
We love lunch around downtown, too! And we love having House17 in Workbar.
Whether you run a tight ship of five workers or have a growing number of employees, Workbar’s private offices and enterprise suites are designed with flexibility in mind so your team can thrive in a space that fits their needs — and not the other way around.
